Engine Tanker 114 and Quint 11 from Walkersville VFC #11 responded to a machinery and equipment barn fire on Links Rd, just outside of Walkersville, on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Chief Chad Barrick also responded and established Incident Command. The volunteer crews operated for several hours working to contain the fire to the original fire building.

Thank you to Middletown Volunteer Fire Company #7 for transferring to our station and keeping Walkersville safe while our apparatus was on scene.

Clean up from the fire continued on Sunday by flushing the pumps of both the Engine Tanker and the Quint. By flushing out the pumps and tanks, we keep our apparatus in better operating function.
